The first time I saw this chart I felt like I had discovered a secret that someone didn’t want me to know. For me this is not just about saving money by not buying all of these OTC drugs, but finding a solution for storing the medicines my family might need in emergency situations. Because the oils remain potent indefinitely, they don’t expire and become “deadly toxic” like the drug manufacturers lead you to believe happens to their products.
The chart below shows just some of the over-the-counter medicines that each of these basic essential oils replace. I find it fascinating.
Finally, if these oils really work I could create a stash of oils and have peace of mind knowing that I was prepared to care for my family is a time of medical distress now and in the future. My quest now was to find out if indeed the oils really work. Can a few drops of Lavender really calm a crying baby, stop a cold in its tracks, kill bacteria and viruses, disinfect my counter-tops, reduce high blood pressure, treat insect bites and bee stings, soothe sunburns, lift depression, relieve headaches, not to mention active my pineal gland?
I invite you to come along as I discover everything essential about essential oils.
